Completely Restored low hump AC cab

Someone posted this on Facebook $6,950 for this? I've got less in my small window high hump non AC cab that was converted from AC and, I cut out the middleman by doing everything myself. If I was in the market I'd go maybe $3,000 or is $6,950 right on the money?

Re: Completely Restored low hump AC cab

I look at it this way, anything is worth what someone is willing to pay. I can ask a high $$ but it may not sell.

That may sound like a high price but for someone with the budget and wanting to speed up a build considerably it may sound worthwhile.

Me? No way, that is over 3x what I paid for my whole truck ---- but it's not in near that shape yet either. I got time and am enjoying the process.

Re: Completely Restored low hump AC cab

The average guy/gal isn’t likely to spend that kind of money on a cab and doors but if someone with deep pockets is looking at a custom build (not worried about vin matched frame/cab/spid) than these kinds of deals probably make sense. Starting rust free isn’t cheap by any means. Would I spend that much on a cab and doors??? Nope. I’m one of those average guys.
Edit: says sold with a bill of sale... no title? Nope, not worth at all in my book with no title.

Re: Completely Restored low hump AC cab

In the pics it looks pretty nice. If it is that good under the primer then in actuality it's worth it. If somebody has to pay to get a cab to that point that needs lots of repair it can get very expensive. As already said though it's only worth what somebody will pay. If you live in or near a dry state it's probably a horrifying price. Up where things rot it won't look so bad at all to guy that has to pay for someone else to do that work and also to pay retail on the parts. Would I pay that HELL NO! I'd go to Arizona and buy a whole truck. I'll add that up here North of the border titles are not a thing on a vehicle. It wouldn't be in the decision.

Re: Completely Restored low hump AC cab

That ad has been on Ebay for more than 2 years , Is he selling any ?

There are a lot of nicely finished trucks in here that the owners have never turned a wrench on so ... yeah I'd say he's sold a few
