What's this bumper?

Searching around for Stepside inspiration, and I've found a few examples of this wraparound step bumper. If anyone has an actual name or knows how to find one I'd appreciate it.

Re: What's this bumper?

I guess generic is wrap-around bumper. But Barden made them and that's the name that stuck. They sure make a lot of sense for a Stepside. The wide beds ran then, too. But they came about as a Stepside thing

Re: What's this bumper?

If you take that bumper, narrow it to just the bed width, and chrome it that was what was on my 1970 stepside. The side piece ran even with the bedside and just behind the fender. It was a custom made job and I got asked about it numerous times when I had the truck. Considering trying to build one for my current project when I get to that point.

Re: What's this bumper?

I'd like to find a shop that can bend arches into c-channel like these bumpers have. All they are is c-channel and diamond plate. I could make cool winch bumpers, too. I buy steel and use their sheer & brake services of a shop called B&D Truck Hoist. Been meaning to ask them if they have a connection for that
