A few people have discussed this with their resolutions here - http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=704136

Re: Best place to buy 8 lug steel wheels

What I really need is three more of these wheels:

16x6-1/2, 8 Lug wheel. 4/1/2" offset on the backside.
I have one of these that came with the truck. I would need to find three others just like it. That's the problem.

Or, just buy four new ones. But these places just want so much damn money for these. Have not had any luck with wrecking yards.

Not trying to do that, just looking for sources.

However, I just paid for a membership. So, I will list something in the classifieds.
How long does it take to kick-in?

Welcome aboard big guy.
You know that's what I did, I was using everybody's knowledge and noticed they were all dues paying members and thought I'd keep the knowledge flowing and also joined. Thanks.

huh? you posted a set of 16x7 wheels with 1yo 90% tread Goodyear wranglers listed for an incredible price, like $600.. don't know how to tell you this but you're not going to find any better deals than that.. I have two full sets of those, 10 wheels and tires on the ground at my house tight now and I was tempted to go buy them but kept watching the ad hoping you would.. gone now..

I have also noticed this is about the fifth 8-lug wheel thread you've opened in very short period of time.. the more you dilute your questions across the forum in separate threads, the more difficult it is for other folks to figure out how to help you..

best of luck, hope you find a solution!

however, if I were looking for some 16" wheels, that craiglist ad is a deal!

wheels are $70-$90 new aftermarket repop, wheel vintiques are $125ish..

if those are factory ford wheels, they're accurides, excellent wheels..

and this is definitely worth the balance "The tires are in great condition. They have over 90% tread and the DOT is from 2019. They are Goodyear wrangler load range E tires size LT245/75/16"

good luck!

so you noticed the ones contributing information were the ones paying and thought that by you also paying it would somehow stimulate more information flow?

I would have purchased those, however, they were sold before I had a chance to get there.

Wow. Thanks!
That would be great if I was near Sacramento. It’s a good 9 hour drive.

Sometimes you have to be committed.
(to the cause, that is)

Re: Best place to buy 8 lug steel wheels

I was looking for 8 lugs for my off brand truck and ended up with new wheels from Coker. They were a little pricey but the truck is a keeper and they come powder coated so I justified the cost.

Coker = Wheel Vintiques & usually cheaper through Summit Racing.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

I agree but Summit didn't have 16x8 listed on their website so Coker got the sale.
