Looks like the date code deciphers to " I " - 19 -6 which would be Sept. 19 of '56. Fairly early intake for the '57 production run. I have an identical intake dated " D " - 29 -7 which is April 29 of '57. Same intake was used on both Corvettes and passenger cars alike. Would appeal to someone wanting to do a point correct restoration. Carbs used on that intake would be either the Carter WCFB or the Rochester 4-Jet, early fore runner to the Quadra-Jet.
