I just read through your build and I like the progress you are making. Solid work on mating the bed floor sections and doing the braces before the floor was a good idea.

Hey thanks for the compliment. I've enjoyed following your thread, too. Your thread gave me the idea to do the bed floor in two pieces. Was a wee bit more work but I think it turned out alright.

Small update-

Installed the latches on the tailgate and it ended up shutting and lining up half decent. Just needs a little tweaking.

Also I haven't been too crazy about the reproduction front bed panel. It doesn't seem to sit close enough to the top rail. I'm going to try and salvage the original panel. It ended up not being as rusty as it looked originally. Just needs a small patch on the bottom flange. Went to town with a dolly and hammer too to take out the dings from it's previous years of abuse.

I'll swap them out and if there isn't much change, I'll just plan on selling it.
