Rare NOS Gas Cap Correct for 70-71 Half Tons

GM p/n: 3975177

Don't think I have ever seen one of these sold before....

The 1979 parts manual shows correct for 1970 and 1971 half tons (screenshot below).

From the outside it appears similar to the 6263474 cap; however, there is a brass-colored piece under the rubber on this cap that the I'm pretty certain the 6263474 cap doesn't have.

$150 shipped plus fees Now $135

Can you measure with a dial caliper the size of the opening this would fit?

Hey Randy - I embarrassed to say that I don't own a set of calipers. Using a tape measure, I measure the dimensions below:

From inside edge to inside edge of the outer rim (distance between red lines): roughly 2.718" - 2.75"

Diameter of black rubber piece (green lines): 2.25"

Outer diameter of locking piece (blue lines): 1.5"

Hopefully that helps. Let me know if you need any other measurements.

$120 shipped and I’ll do it... let me know.

I’m also looking for a decent exterior cargo (bed) light assembly. And some 1970 mirrors. If you have either of those.

I can do 120. Let me look regarding your other items. Sport mirrors or big mirrors?

The small ones for a 70, guess that's sport mirrors... like these.
