FREE!! 72 lwb bed and frame

I have a 72 lwb bed and frame that someone can have if they will come pick it up. The bedsides are in real good condition. There is some rust in the floor near the front panel. There is a tailgate that is pretty beat up but it still opens and closes. There is a black painted bumper that is straight. I will be leaving the power steering box on the frame also. Here are a few pics and I can get more if needed.

The cab and wheels have been sold from this truck. You will need a flat bed to pick it up.

Damn! Why does it have to be in NC? Woulda been there in a heartbeat but it's a little bit of a ride for me.
Thanks for being so generous though.

I wish you were closer too. My wife is tired of looking at this stuff. I have parted most of this truck and didn't have any luck trying to sell the bed. Now I just want it gone. Someone get this stuff before it goes to the junkyard in a couple weeks.

I need a long bed for my '69, but too far away.
Thanks,

Damn, you're gonna send it to the scrap heap. Your killing me.

If nobody else takes it soon I will be on vacation in a couple of weeks. I have family in Philly so I might take a trip down to visit. If i'm in the area I might take a trip down with my trailer.

How far would you say Fayetteville is from Philly. Say 4-5 hours sound about right?

Sorry for the delayed response. I was on vacation last week. Not sure about the time to Philly. I know DC is about 4.5-5 hours. Mapquest should let you know. Front crossmember is in place but there are no suspension components left. There is no rear end in the truck. The rear coils are in place and the power steering gear box is left. There are also small block frame mounts.

If no one can use it, I could use the hardware from the tailgate (handle, linkage, etc.). No hurry and only if you get no other takers.

Thanks, and good luck with it.
