Energy suspension motor mounts

Anybody have any idea why Energy suspension does not make Poly motor mounts for a 2004 Silverado crewcab 5.3 / 2 WD.....

Re: Energy suspension motor mounts

The rubber mounts holds up pretty well since it’s not the clamshell design from the gen I and II. I have pulled several 200k+ motors from the 1999-2006 Silverados and Sierras and the mounts were in great shape. No cracking or anything. Switching to urethane will provide for more vibration than rubber.

Re: Energy suspension motor mounts

As a side question does the stiffer motor mounts mess with the knock sensors?

Re: Energy suspension motor mounts

I wouldnt think it would effect knock sensors at all.... as far as the rubber mounts lasting, I prefer the strength and stability the Poly bushings provide. I dont know that i ever noticed any vibration. I built an 85 and did the total ES KIT....
