If you have the work done and run dual exhaust, adding an H pipe will give you that nice mellow exterior sound and help evacuate exhaust gasses. Don't forget the type of exhaust hangers used will make a huge difference on interior noise and exhaust drone. You'll want exhaust hangers that have a good rubber isolator (i.e. j-hook style works well).

I did 2.5 rams horns and 2.5 pipe into one muffler with a 3" exit on mine. The shop put a short little magnaflow on it at first and I hated the loud sound, so they swapped it.
