Front Brake Shoe Anchor Bolt
Hello,
Seen several older threads on here about finding this bolt. I need two of them for the front of a 1969 Chevrolet C-10. I have seen some available online for cars but they look different, and one website said "this is not for trucks". Anyone have a couple of these available I would greatly appreciate it. It looks like the one in the picture I took this picture from an old thread because it looks exactly like the bolt I need. Thank you, Mike M |

Mike - I can pull a couple for you in the next couple of days. $8 for both plus shipping which hopefully wouldn't be too much?? Let me know if that works for you. Jay

Re: Front Brake Shoe Anchor Bolt
Back in the day, IIRC, Cadillac drum brake parts were the same as the 5-lug 1/2T Chevy truck.

Re: Front Brake Shoe Anchor Bolt
Looks like you have a line on a pair, anyway. I think that a lot of parts are the same. Just consider what a Caddy weighs, though I guess six 200 pound people in a Caddy isn't the same as half a ton in the bed of a truck...oh, wait!
I'm reminded of when a bunch of our (large) relatives came to visit, and when my parents went to take them to the airport my dad's car dragged bottom going out of the driveway. Us kids were in the house looking out the window when he backed out. They had to come back for something, and my mom asked why we all were laughing so hard. Some wise-acre (not mentioning any names) commented that that car can really haul "buns".

Oh yes...I will keep the cadillac option in mind for sure. Yes hopefully that other board member will have a two of them for me.
Thank you, Mike M |
