Good Saturday

After a body & frame swap, D44 and corp 14 FF I finally got my first win. Pulled the sled pass the 300ft mark and out the gate for 305.4ft on Saturday for 1st place in S.S. and 285ft in the light S.S. class for 2nd.

It started as a '88 1/2 ton w/ IFS (crap), 3:42's and 10bolt (crap, for what we do). We swaped the body on to 74? 1ton frame. That took about 2 weeks for the body swap (NEVER AGAIN), body mount extentions had to be fabed and the colum to the gear box was off about 6". BBC 454 .40over, TH350 custom built, 4,800 stall, FT-T-Case, D44 w/ ds FT-plate, lock out ps, 4:11's welded, corp 14 FF also welded, Holley, crane cam solid, edelbrock intake, wieand elec water pump, elec fuel, elec fan, no alt, autometer tach, oil, temp (only gauges in truck) moroso switch panel, interstate battery in ps floor board. The roll bar is held in with a tiedown strap, just helps the look of the truck, compartment in front of bed for tractor weights.
