Re: 1969 K10 CST Full Restoration

Are you kidding me!? That is just amazing. My jaw dropped. I loved it in caps, but those rally wheels just made it over the top IMO.

Thanks for sharing that.

Man this thing came out sweet! Thats the one type of 67-72 I dont have (4WD). Build threads like this one get a lot of guys like me in trouble with their wives! Great work that truck is beautiful.

This. The rally's look great, can't go wrong with that ride, it's black for starts. To me the original wheels & caps on that truck makes a BIG difference.

It's blue....super dark though it may be.

I know that this truck did not have this wheel/cap option available from the factory, but it is my favorite of the era. And yep, I got a set of 8 lug skinnies sitting in the basement just itching to cut some grooves under the K20.

Think I mentioned I was color/shade blind. Nothing remarkable, some guys are off the charts

That's a beautiful blue. Those are 71-72 caps if I remember right. Seems I threw my old caps away but they weren't usable. I have an NOS set of stainless & the old wheels. Maybe someday, but running with rallys first. I think those old caps look best with the darker colors.
