Re: How not to make a shortbox

Halfway into a case of beer: “Pulling the cab is too much work, It’ll be easier to just cut the back off”

The next day: “well how am I gonna fix this now? Uhhh. Screw it, it’s the next guys problem”

Craigslist ad: “shortbed conversion started”

Re: How not to make a shortbox

There have been a few with the rear cut off a long bed posted here over the years. Not my cup of tea but if it served the purpose of the individual at the time it's one way of doing it. At one time Ford actually offered a fleetside bed with the rear cut off as part of a camper rig setup.

I like that flatbed man! I'm really liking those Stingray's to! I have a couple of them also plus a bunch of parts for them.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

I have seen WAY uglier work than that flatbed for sure!

Re: How not to make a shortbox

Yikes... at the OP post. That isn’t good at all

I’ve never understood why people try to take short cuts in cutting down a long to a short bed but I guess there’s a reason
