Recommendation for Windshield Gasket

I'm just about ready to re-install the windshield back into my '72 Jimmy.

Of course I need a new windshield gasket and am looking for recommendations for a good replacement. One that may actually last, and not be checked up within a few months.

Thanks in advance for the recommendation.

Use Precision brand gaskets. Lots of vendors on this site sell their brand.

X2 on Precision. Do your research on here Windshields seem very simple but they are not.

Takes some specialty equipment, tools to get it done right other than just a rope.

Here's a link to their web site. You should be able to source the gaskets from a C10 parts dealer in California.

Re: Recommendation for Windshield Gasket

I used Precision on my trim-equipped 65 and buddy's non-trim 63. No issues, went with them due to all the positive recommendations on here. Precision even as how to install videos!

Re: Recommendation for Windshield Gasket

I know it’s been discussed, but most of the threads are old....anyone know a good aftermarket stainless trim brand/company for the precision gaskets? Looking for recent, good experiences. Thx.
