Clean gas tank
What do you guys use to clean out gas tank varnish?
Going to tank swap latter but want to get the truck rolling on its on steem this week |

Depends on how bad it is. I usually just pressure wash the inside with soap then rinse. I then empty out as much of the water as I can, blow it out with the long nozzle on my air hose, pour a couple of bottles of HEAT in it and slosh it around to absorb what moisture is left, and let it dry out good. That works on most of them..... Be sure and put a new fuel sock on the end of the pick up tube. LockDoc

Its a bit white last time it seen fresh gas would have been a fiver in 91 when dad had me cobble a 283 together with 350 heads never ran well Tank is a bit white inside google seen a few with lots of chemicals not sure how there residue would mix with gas |

I thought of sand blasting it but decided i proubly could not get all the sand out
