Fuel Cell search

Hey all, I've got a 1969 C10 Short Step pickup and I'm looking for a fuel cell for the bed, over the rear axle. It must be 15 gallon minimum with provisions for a fuel level sender. I'd also prefer to have the fuel pickup below the main tank level in the back, like a drag style tank. I've seen the ones in Jegs and Summit. Any one have any other ideas? Besides a beer keg? I'm just not interested in having a beer keg in the back of my truck. Looks foolish an immature in my mind. I'm looking for something professional. Thanks in advance.

Fuelcellguy made mine. You tell him what you want and he will build it. Then it just appears at the door a few weeks later. Awesome quality, great service and a perfect fit. He even included all of the mounting brackets and hardware. Installation was a snap. Mine was made from .125 aluminum, fully baffled, with a sending unit and 8-AN fittings.

I just got my FCG tank about 2 weeks ago. I have not installed it yet, but I held it up and it looks like it will fit perfectly. He made it exactly how I wanted it.

Who/where can I find information for this "Fuelcellguy"? What kind of prices did you guys pay? I'm not looking for anything fancy, just something nice that'll work correctly.

Pricing is between you and him. I know he used to be on the board alot. I took some time off from the board and have not seen him for a while. I'm sure he can be found. Try looking in the member section for fuelcellguy

I am still around. I have just been extremely busy lately. I have been finishing up the ol' truck. Blackhawkdc, if you look closely in the pic, you can see my basic tank peeking out from under the bed. If need any other info, drop me a line. Later, FCG

Truck looks great FCG....I took some time off for a while too. It's much more fun building than chatting. Hope Blackhawk deals with you......He won't be sorry....I sure wasn't. My Son's truck is almost done....I WILL have it finished for Hot August Nights in Reno and I'll be sure to show off your top quality work. Take care!!!!!! Here are a few progress pics for you with the fuel cell you made mounted.........Thanks again for the great work!!!
