Question 52 chevy cab differences ?

Are there any differences in cabs between the big bolts and small bolt cabs
I have two cabs the big bolt has better sheetmetal
Planing on s10 conversion as we have an s10 already

big bolt = 1.5 ton and larger ?
small bolt = 1 ton 3/4 ton 1/2 ton?

if thats what you are asking, there are no major differences. you will need to add a 1/2 ton e- brake bracket to the outside of the toe board/firewall, the 1/2 ton inner fender on the drivers side is 1" shorter for the bracket.

Re: 52 chevy cab differences ?

Joedoe nailed it spot on. Big trucks have the park brake on the back of the trans and have the brake handle next to the shifter. Hence they don't need or have a park brake on the floor. You won't use that with the S-10 swap but if you have a complete donor snag the S-10 park brake pedal and cable assembly to put in the AD. Keep that bracket off your 3000 series as you have to use it to bolt on the inner fender.
