Re: 1971 Cheyenne Work Truck
Purchased some parts from Lanman1972 this week...Great guy!
And got to see this truck in person. WOW! The pictures do not do it justice. He's done a wonderful job with it! The attention to detail is phenomenal! Daubs

Re: 1971 Cheyenne Work Truck
Looks like the engine is getting ready to let go. Tons of smoke and almost zero oil pressure. Probably get a direct bolt in crate engine.

Re: 1971 Cheyenne Work Truck
I installed an aftermarket grill and surround on my C30 and was not happy with the top gap at the surround. I ended up painting the (tabs) black so they are not that noticeable. Your 72 grill looks great but your 71 is just like mine. I wonder if I did something wrong.
Very nice build.

Re: 1971 Cheyenne Work Truck
Truck is finally done. Engine did let go so I installed a base L43 crate engine. I only have about 20 miles on it but is performing very well. Now hopefully get out and show it off!

Re: 1971 Cheyenne Work Truck
That is just a really nice little truck. You should be proud of her.
