Firewall Nubs
I have no idea what they're actually called or if they serve any real purpose...
On my firewall there are four conical rubber nubs around the engine recess. They're about 3/8" in diameter and 1/2" long. I broke one when I was re-installing my transmission dipstick and I can't find them in any catalog. Any help would be appreciated. There's one in the red circle in the picture - it's been painted over. It's the one below that one that I broke off.

Re: Firewall Nubs
Those are inserted from inside the cab to hold the firewall insulation/pad in place.
GMC Pauls has them in rubber or plastic. I have tried both and the rubber ones (like the originals) are much easier to install without ruining them. Here's the link... https://gmcpauls.com/floor11.htm
