New Guy From Missouri
Hi Everyone!
Just wanted to stop in and say hi after lurking and trying to get registered for the last few months. Picked up a 1970 C10 over the summer then found a 68 a month or so later and bought it too. The 70 is a driver with the 68 being a full frame off resto-mod. Hope to interact with some of you soon. Last edited by brianc636; 08-13-2020 at 04:57 PM. |

Welcome to the forum! I too live in Missouri - Columbia to be exact. I saw where the big swap meet has been canceled only to morph into another swap meet the same dates and same place!
Welcome aboard - Jay Self

Re: New Guy From Missouri
Thanks! I think the 70 will get sold at the end of summer and help speed up the rolling chassis build on the 68.

Bass Pro is great and even better now with the re-opening of Wonders of Wildlife. It's an extremely cool place.

Re: New Guy From Missouri
I was just back in lone jack month of july doing annual chores.. buddy of mine from work flew out for a week to help me with some overhead wiring, he took his son down there and said it was amazing.. and one of my other co-workers was also out your way during the same time frame visiting his brother and his family and his mom n dad that both moved to springfield about a year ago and they love it! I can't wait to move back home, got about 5 years to go..

Like the Idea of one still moving while you wait to get the other completed should help you keep focused. Gotta say it but more pics please!!!

Welcome to the board and cool trucks! At least you have the 70 to enjoy while you build the 68!
