Pictures of rag joint aka steering coupling at steering gear
Here's the rag joint from my 1969 CST/10, what the service manual calls steering coupling at steering gear. It was caked with 50 years of crud, and I cleaned it up with WD40. I think the ground wire with its terminal ends is interesting looking. It looks like very good condition. Just posting pictures for your entertainment, because I was wondering what this would look like clean and close up. I used the 2-jaw puller from my steering wheel puller set to take it off of the steering gear.

That's a nice original for sure. The contact is for auto-steer

Sure looks better than the OER piece I just installed on my '68. I would have rebuilt the original, but I upgraded to power steering and the splines on the stock unit didn't match.
