Unhappy Problem at the gas pump

Everything was working fine...until tonight. This is what happened....I filled up a few times before in my Blazer gas tank that I installed in my 68 GMC truck - no problem. However, tonight, I couldn't get a $1 worth of gas into the tank. It kept on spitting it out. Oh what, oh what could the problem be???? Has anyone ever had this problem??? By the way, I'm filling the tank up by using the side marker idea. Please help!!! Notice, no spelling errors...my wife typed the message! LOL

Check the vent, if it gets plugged it will do that or someone threw a ball down your filler neck.

I had the exact same thing happen when my vent tube was blocked.
It took forever to fill up and I smelled like I took a petrolium shower after.
