inline fuses
There is an inline fuse on both sides of my rad support that are in the wiring harness. Just wondering what purpose they serve?

I am told that these are for the Ammeter gauge. I have them too but I can't figure-out how to get to the fuses without breaking something. I don't know if they twist or if they just pull apart. If you get yours open, let me know how they come apart. It would be nice to have all of my gauges working.

i took mine apart last night and both of the fuses were broken inside. Can you just replace the fuse or should I cut the wires and replace them with new inline fuses?

oh yeah and mine are both around the headlights
right about here...not exactly, but in the general area

What I did with mine was pry on the metal part of the fuse that was stuck and bent it inwards so I could pull it out with needle nose pliers. Didn't take that long to do, like around 10mins to do both ones that were broken.

On mine the one on the passenger side feeds the whole electrical system power and the one on the drivers side feeds the AMP guage. Myself I cut them out and put in the more modern fuses in those spots.

They are both for the ammeter. black wire with a white stripe. I got a new harness from M and S and didn't know what the fuses were for so I called their technical help number.
