6-7 Blade Fan Part Number/Source

Upgrading from my non-clutch 4 blade on my 72 GMC K1500.

Read through some threads but couldn't find a source for the actual fan blade (Hayden has stopped selling fan blades). Planning on buying the Hayden 2705 thermal fan clutch and looking for a 6 or 7 blade fan go with it. Does anyone have a part number or source they have used in the past?

Here's the one I use on my 72 with stock fan shroud with a clutch and rotates clockwise(since I have v belts).

I used a Derale 17118, 18" Rigid fan, clutch type, 6-blade (just saw it's the same fan used by roboticjunky). Summit P/N DER-17118 along with a Hayden 2705 thermal clutch fan from RockAuto.

FWIW, I love my factory 7-blade fan. I would assume replicas are every bit as good, or you might find an OEM unit in a salvage yard or maybe find a board member with one to sell you.

If I may make a suggestion as to the clutch unit. A few years ago mine failed and my research came up with something. Hayden #2705 is a light-duty unit. One way to tell is the fins on the face are just around the outer edge. With factory A/C, my thermal OEM clutch was a heavy-duty unit (fins covered most of the face) and I found that a Hayden #2747 is a perfect replacement. My fan has 2 1/2" pitch, so a light-duty clutch would not be correct.

Whether you have A/C or not, in Texas heat you might benefit from the additional cooling capabilities of a HD fan clutch.

Thanks for the quick replies everyone! I think I'll take you're advice on the fan clutch Stoker and see if I can find a NOS or OEM 7 blade first. If not, I'll go after the others that were listed.

Katwalk, if that is original / oem and is an 18" fan, I'd be interested in the fan for sure. Don't think the shipping on the clutch would be worth it and I think I will order the fan clutch Stoker recommended.

The repop 772 fan, is an 18" fan, and a great match with the Haden 2747, or the 2947 if you need to pull the fan closer to the block to ensure the blades are 1/2 in and 1/2 out of the shroud.

I wondered if it might be a repop..... in your earlier pics it didn't seem to look quite like an OEM fan.
