ACC pedal mounting ideas
Pics in my build thread
https://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/...721845&page=19 Any thoughts on cleanest/good way to do this - or just bolt it down it will be fine and cover with carpet and pad.

Re: ACC pedal mounting ideas
Once I got it figured out as to where it was comfortable to drive with for several hours at a time . I'd figure out how to mount it solid and then take it out, get the rust cleaned off good and paint it with satin black Rust oleum or Ace rust stop satin black and call it good.
I have no rational Idea on how many gas pedals I have had in my 48 since 1973. I remember that in the 90's I stuck one in that looked great but I took out and pitched in the trash can the day after making a 100 mile each way jaunt to a show. When I got home from that trip I could barely walk when I got out of the truck when I got home because my foot and leg were at an uncomfortable angle. I think the pedal in it now came out of a Mustang II I scrapped out. I bought the car to build and the frame work at the cowl was so rusted there was no fixing it.

Re: ACC pedal mounting ideas
My pics aren't the greatest but the first pic shows the 90 degree sheetmetal bracket from the trans hump to the flat toeboard right next to the hump. A piece of angle iron bolted flush to the front of the bracket serves to mount the Lokar pedal. I did it that way to position the pedal where it was comfortable and to simplify fitting the carpet.

Re: ACC pedal mounting ideas
I used the factory pedal. I redesigned it so I could use it with a cable.
