Introduction

Good afternoon. I recently purchased a 1965 C20 off of craigslist. I happened to luck out and find the exact same truck my father owned when I was a kid. Same year, same color, engine, and transmission. I am new to the C20 so I imagine I will have lots of questions and will appreciate any feedback or help.

One first question I will ask, is there any quality of life things I should look at doing sooner than later? Thanks.

Re: Introduction

Welcome! Your truck looks great! Are you planning on keeping it a C20?

Re: Introduction

I plan on keeping it as original as possible. Currently, one one brake works so I am in the process of rebuilding those.

One interesting thing is the rear bumper. I tried to find any information about the dealership listed but didn't find much.

Re: Introduction

You'd probably get a whole lot more info in this section for questions on your truck - https://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/...isplay.php?f=6

Re: Introduction

welcome aboard! working on my dad's 65 C20 led me to this forum..

couldn't find the vin tag in a truck I've known all my life

good luck and as mentioned, good idea to gather up what you know and what you're looking for and start a thread in the 60-66 sub forum..

congrats on a good start on your project - good luck!
