Exclamation Off the shelf rattle can interior colors
I just wanted to start a thread for people looking for off the shelf rattle can colors. I needed to repaint my dash and the custom can from usa1industries with shipping was $35. I was able to find 81-87 burgundy that was a perfect match from Home Depot for $4.

I thought your interior was Mahogany? If I remember right, you were asking about what color your carpet was, awhile back.

That looks good. I dyed my dash, about 7 years ago. That was a job. Don’t believe I would ever want to do that again.

Just trying to help out if anyone has any other off the shelf colors that they want to provide it could save some guys some $$$$.

Did my dash pad with Krylon Fusion. I have a long way to go to make it decent but I filled the cracks with foam, sanded and painted it. Also did my console. Its close to the original blue, and good enough for my daily driver. I have a dashmat over it so that helps protect whats left of it.

Also, another tip, I scuffed the gloss paint with a scuff pad, clean it and hit it with matt clear. It now looks factory new.

I used that Krylon fusion on my dash and some beat up door panels and has been a couple years now and is still holding up

It was my Martha Stuart make over, made my own door pockets and handles. Tried all the tricks for the dash, foam spray, fibreglass bodyfiller but all cracked
