Rubber bumpers

Good morning all,
I just got a rubber bumper kit for my 65 C10. Is there a trick to install the door bumpers? I tried lubing and pushing them in without success. There are 2 on each door. Thanks.

Re: Rubber bumpers

Putting them in hot water helps make them more pliable and easier to install...
I've not done any on your yr models trucks, so I'm not sure what your faced with..
but a small screwdriver usually helps to work the nub thru the hole..

Re: Rubber bumpers

Hot water, then a little dish soap for slip, and that hole in the middle is useful for an insertion tool. Grind the tip off a nail so it's not sharp and poke it in with that.
