Rubber mat

Now that i have the jimmy back, i need to fix it up a little.
Any one have any recommendations for a correct looking rubber floor mat for the front? I got one years ago for my 67 pickup, but don't recall where i got it.
Thanks for any help.

Re: Rubber mat

FWIW stock interiors carpet has GREAT customer service. I ordered a carpet set from them (made by ACC) and didnt get to install it for over a year. The rear carpet in my blazer was a good 6" too short and with a few pics and measurements they sent me a new rear carpet. Very hassle free.

Now I dont know much about the rubber floor mats but I hope you have a good experience using them.

Re: Rubber mat

That's impressive that StockInteriors.com helped you a year after purchase.

I encountered several problems with the ACC manufactured carpet set I ordered from Stock Interiors.com two months ago. Customer service was responsive and understanding. I sent a handful of photos they requested and they agreed to have UPS pick up the carpet and send a new set to me. Very easy to deal with.

Awesome - for documentations sake how did it fit (what was wrong with it?) and did the new one fit better? Do you have CST or NonCST carpet.

Re: Rubber mat

This is the style of rubber mat I would like. I have been keeping an eye out for it for years and have had no luck. I may settle for carpet since I don't like the plain vinyl style.

I installed ACC carpet in my Blazer in 2011 and it fit well although after 9 years it had faded from dark olive green to brown so it was time for to be replaced. I purchased and received ACC carpet set in July 2020. I was surprised how poorly the new carpet fit.

The returned carpet set was 80/20 loop for 72 CST high hump. The poorly fitting set was returned just last week and the new set hasn't shipped yet but I anticipate it will be delivered later this week.

The rear set was the correct overall width however it was 1.5" narrow between the wheel wells and 1.5" short to the rear. Cuts that were supposed to be straight were sloppy looking and wavy.

The front set was off center. The passenger side was heavy about 2" while the driver side was short 0.5". The cuts binding along the kick panels were sloppy/wavy. Numerous loop pulls along the parameter were sticking out from under the binding that could have been trimmed up before the set was shipped.

FWIW, the set was produced at 4:06 PM. Perhaps the job was rushed, the person making the carpet was tired, unskilled or just careless. Who knows, but the mistakes were glaringly obvious when the set was test fitted and even more so compared to my previous set it was replacing.

StockInteriors responded quickly, acknowledged my concerns with the ACC carpet set and took action to correct the problem by requesting photos and having UPS pickup the carpet from my doorstep.

Below are a few photos of the carpet set purchased in July 2020.

Re: Rubber mat

My tan turned orange from sun, tried re-dye. never could get black, settled for dark chocolate brown. About to reorder myself.

Re: Rubber mat

Update to request for info regarding carpet set cut quality.

Hopefully rubber mats aren't affected by the cut problems too.

The replacement set has the same issues in the same locations as the returned set. The accuracy of ACC's template seems to have strayed for the rear set for 69-72 CST.

Again, too narrow between the wheel wells with a poor cut at the front of the passenger side wheel well and a tad short of the tailgate.

Here are photos of the old set (faded brown) compared to the new set (olive green).
