Manual drum to power disc conversion
Looking for some clarification on brake booster and M/C for my K20. What I have is a 69 cab from a c10 that had power drum brakes. I am using the brake pedal and firewall bracket from the c10 on my K20. I am also swapping in a Dana 44 from a 78 K20 so I can have disc brakes. My question is...can I use a new booster for a 69 C10 and a new M/C for a 71 K20? I know the drum brake and disc brake use a different M/C, but will the C10 booster work with the K20 M/C? Hopefully I haven't confused everyone as much as I am. Thanks in advance.

Re: Manual drum to power disc conversion
Rock auto list them as different part numbers 69c10 booster and 72 k20 booster
Might be tied to master cylinder bore size I have taken one from my 70 k20 put it on my 70 k10 with no issues |

Re: Manual drum to power disc conversion
The booster on a k20 should be a dual diaphragm I believe
For stopping a heavier load |
