255-45-18 tires ?
Anybody ever use 255-45-18 inch on there truck?
I was wondering if there were fitment issues. My truck is lowered 4 1/2 in the front 2 1/2 drop spindles & 2 in drop springs and shocks. The rear has 4 " lowering springs with shocks re-located Current tires are 215-70-15 on front (no issues), back tires are 275-60-15 on , they are tight to the outside of the bedside. I'm looking to use 5x5 ---- 8 in wheels with 4.50 backspace. |

Re: 255-45-18 tires ?
I have used 255 on the rear and they are fine. The 4 1/2" back spacing may give you issues. I have 4" on my rear wheels and the tire can rub the inside of the wheel wells. On the front they may hit the fender with that much drop. With the 255 and a 8 inch wheel and 4 1/2" drop mine hit.
