Number Of Access Plugs Needed In A Burb
My '69 Burb is blown apart in the body shop getting some love and a new paint job.
I wanted to order the access plugs that are seemingly everywhere throughout the Burb, but the guy is out of town this week and me too! So I can't stop by to do a count. Does anyone have a total count for these? It seems like there are well over 20?? My Burb has the tailgate and lift gate - no barn doors. Thanks in advance! |

I did a little searching but the numbers are all over the place. I sold my Burb so I can't go look. I know there are around 20 total, small round ones and a few larger oval ones. LockDoc

Yeah - there are 18 just along the rear area where the lift and tail gate mount!

Re: Number Of Access Plugs Needed In A Burb
I don't remember how many I used but I just ordered a box of 50 and I was glad I did as I had at least 4 or 5 break during installation.
Some the new ones come out of the mould with the outer portion being too thin and it just breaks off. Don't forget to count the 3 in the doors.

Re: Number Of Access Plugs Needed In A Burb
lol - I bought another 20 from GMC Paul's...making it 40!
Did you put them in the holes at the top of the rear large glass frame? There are a group of the holes along the inside top where the weather seal will cover them after installation. Here: |
