67-72 crewcab/ext

Howdy everyone!
I was just wondering if anyone could educate me on the topic of 67-72 chev/gmc crew cabs or extended cabs, was there any of these made???
I have heard about not for production, but for a fleet like construction or foresty... any information would be awsome!

I don't have pics, but there is a six door GMC floating around the Palmdale/Victorville area in CA.

I don't see it around town anymore, but there used to be an orange 4-door GMC 69 -or- later Suburban.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

G.M. never built any of this type of truck for these years. Upfitters did the work. The pic of the truck from South America was the most common type. It was called a "Six-Pak". Popular with the forest service and rail road.

I am in the process of extending mine. Extended it 20", all of the welding and filling is done. Pluse I scored a set of seats out of a 2000 GMC extend a cab. The truck is in my dad's garage 30 miles away, I will try to post some pics tomorrow, it looks amazing.
