My ‘57 3100
I’ve been away from this side of the board for 5-6 years now as I got back into the 67-72’s pretty heavy. However that is going to change some as I’ve recently decided to get back on this truck next year. It’s not any where close to a factory style build and it’s not going to be that going forward. I’ll link over to the build thread I’ve got going in the 4x4 section for those who’d like to follow along. In short my dad and I put it on a K5 frame about 15 years ago and I’ve decided to change it up as outlined in the build thread. Hope you guys enjoy and I’d love feed back along the way. I’m a big time 4x4 guy and this is still going to be a 4x4 build. I will post updates to this thread from time to time just to check in, but the bulk will be in the build thread. This was my first truck, I bought it when I was 16 and I’ve had it half my life now. This time I’m going to build it better than ever with some homage to the past as well. Hope you guys enjoy, the build thread will be updated with pictures tomorrow. I’m getting excited to start working on my old girl again!
Here’s a pic from about 5-6 years ago and one of the donor truck as it sits now. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=813888
