Re: Parting Out: 1979 Suburban
Steve-
The rear window switch was claimed by liddy71 in post #3. Sorry, man. The best I could do would be get you the harness from the switch to the fuse box. I'd get you the harness all the way to the rear tailgate, but the inside of the suburban is full of about 2 tons of parts, and it would take me an hour to get it all out.

Re: Parting Out: 1979 Suburban
Every bit helps........np, I have some of the original from the tail gate to the front door, so as much of that and the part going into the fuse block would be great.
pm me if possible.............. Thanks, Steve |

Re: Parting Out: 1979 Suburban
Duane-
The instrument cluster for this truck has been spoken for, but I think I have an extra cluster in my parts stash. Let me look tonight, and I'll let you know more. The dash pad off of the Suburban was covered with velour many years ago. They did a nice job, but it's slightly faded by the sun and doesn't look "factory", if that's important to you. I'm not going to use it. If you want it, I'll take $20 for it, but shipping might be a bit on the high side because of it's length. Chevy made the big interior changes in 1981. The cluster has a different lettering font and the dash pads were more squared off on the top, the trim on the passenger side is different, and they have a slight curve at the ends Alex

Re: Parting Out: 1979 Suburban
Sorry John, the distributor went with the motor.
Are #41 weights hard to get? I'll keep an eye out for you. Is #41 stamped on the weight?
