1980 Silverado Big 10 - Caramel Sundae

I’ve owned this truck for 3 years, but haven’t posted much about it here. I saw it at Cruising the Coast in Biloxi, MS and fell in love.

1980 C-10 Silverado Big 10
53k original miles
98ish% Original paint
305/TH350
Lowered 4.5/6.5
Billet Specialties Vintecs

Adding QA1 single adjustable shocks, Holley Sniper EFI, and a healthier small block (retaking factory look under the hood) this winter.

Beautiful! Interesting the person who ordered it opted for electric door locks, but not electric windows. Very nice truck.

Please post about the Sniper EFI swap when you do it. I am thinking about doing this on my 86 this spring. Be cool to see how that goes.

The '80 square headlight grill has gone from my least favorite to the top of the squares for it's uniqueness. That, and a Big 10, and mostly original paint = super cool truck.

I feel the exact same way about them, which is why this one is a Keeper.

It’s too original to go that route, in my opinion.

Yes, I still have it. My wife really likes it too, so I’ve decided that it’s a Keeper! We took it to Cruising the Coast in Mississippi, and we had a blast. Here are a few more pics.

LOL, my “short list of buyers” is growing. If it weren’t a Keeper I might start taking bids. 😁

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.
