67-71 vs 72 door latch control/relay
I am building a truck from scratch and need a door latch relay. I have been working on these trucks since the 70's and learn something new about them every time I build one. Does anyone know the difference between a 1967-71 relay and a 1972? thanks!

Re: 67-71 vs 72 door latch control/relay
The shaft is longer on the 72's due to the door panels being thicker.

Gary is correct, the plastic door panels in 72 required longer shafts on the relay and window regulators.

72 doors are the best doors... just saying!!! They have the screws to keep inner and outer together under the wing and the 72 door panels are the best!

Pretty sure the 67 door control / relay is a one year only offering. Thinking the knurled shaft is shorter than the 68-72 knurled shaft?
