What Color Interior?
So I am in the planning phase of restoration on my 67 shortbed. I’m going to go back with original light blue on the exterior but think I am going to change up the interior color. I know there will be about a thousand differing opinions on this but I’m going to ask anyway. So the question is what color should I go with? Ready go...
Original interior is the medium blue. Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: What Color Interior?
Mine is 503 green exterior. The interior is 503 as well but with a additive to make it soft and not shinny. I figured my eyes would like that better than always looking at a glossy dash. I could have took the simple rout and just went with black as the trim color but, I choose light grey. A little more work but it goes really well with the light green. I bet your light blue would look good with those options too,

Re: What Color Interior?
I like the saddle color like you see in a lot of late models now. With the blue it would be a little different than grey, black, blue that is everywhere. You're right though, lots of opinions. You have to make the call...it's your money.

Re: What Color Interior?
Go with an OE color but contrasting - fawn or red would be neat to see.

Re: What Color Interior?
I think the blue factory interior would look best with light blue.

Re: What Color Interior?
Lux I like the contrast with your green I might have to do some variation of that. Good ideas to think about from everyone else too. I did think about going back stock but it is just too much blue everywhere. I’ll end up contrasting somehow. Who knows, I might change my might 30 times between now and when I get around to the interior.
