How to identify a mid 90’s crate motor

So I have a non running project. My understanding is that motor was purchased about 1997. Have receipt for speed shop that removed and replaced engine but no specs on motor. I do not believe it was ever fired. It’s a big block chevy told it was 454. Has edelbrock aluminum heads. I’ve heard some crate engines might have a tag somewhere?

You might be able to see the deck stamp on the block down behind the alternator.
