to LMC or not to LMC?
Well that's simply the question. =) what is your experience with LMC and would you recommend them? I'm about to start my frame up job in the coming weeks and I have a very loooooong list of chassis parts needed. If you’re a vendor and feel you’re up for my challenge let me know and I’ll send you a list.

most all suspension parts are readily available from local parts outlets at prices less than lmc

I have used them and I havent had any real issues with any of there stuff. but you may want to check around with your list and maybe if there is enough stuff some of them may cut a little better deal with you.
Brothers, Chevy Duty, GMC Pauls, etc, on the very front page of the 67-72 web sight is a list of vendors, http://www.67-72chevytrucks.com/ Even if you dont see under their sight a particaular part they might still have it and calling them in my opinion is better than just through the web because you could apt to get a little better deal.

Keep it in our house by using board members for 67-72 aftermarket parts. They are the backbone of this site and we owe our loyalty to them first. If they weren't around, we wouldn't have this board to use like we do.
Also, find yourself a good dealership parts guy and a good parts store guy. I promise you, it will piss you off when your LMC order arrives and it has GM parts in it that you could have bought locally at your dealership parts department. I used LMC a few times before I got on the internet and discovered this place.

LMC has their pricing shown in the catalog to make you think you're getting some kind of discount. The customer service people that you will be talking to don't seem to know the difference between "siccum" and "commere". Now for those who don't read "southern" that is "Sick 'em" and "come here". Anyway, I was not impressed with the people I talked to at LMC.
Also, Godfather's didn't impress me, either. Shipped the wrong shocks and tried to argue their way out of sending the right ones by telling me it didn't matter. What should matter is that I don't do business with either, anymore....and I'm talking about one time each. I have a local guy who sells parts for 67-72's that I have used on occasions. But, I rely on the parts stores in town for the stuff that is available locally. Nobody sells what I really need, tho...and that is the labor I need to be expending on the body of my truck. I know I can go and get it done....I am just a little bit on the negative side of the cash flow valve. Sucks.

I've had multiple good experiences with Carolina Classic Trucks. Customer service was excellent!

As stated before, Rick's, Tim's, Paul's or any of the board vendors are great places to go. They will deal with you and are intersted in making sure you get the right stuff the first time. And the parts are all the same so you won't have to worry about too many quality issues either. Unless you go to like some off the wall bunch anyway. I have had great dealing with all the board vendors though. Good luck and start wrenching!!

Wes's Pauls I can highly recomend both of these guys great service and a wealth of info...LMC Screwed up 2 attmepts when I first got the truck......Use te board guys they are the best My .02 Jack

Places to buy
I have purchased from LMC a couple of times and didn't have a problem with them. Then I discovered this place. There are lots of people here willing to help. I have had good luck with GMC Pauls'

i like LMC only for their diagrams and hard to find parts and have never had any negative experiences with them. personal favorite is chevy duty but i would recommend keepin it in house of course then venture out if its a part you cant find
