moving motor mount?

My truck was converted from I6 to v-8 before i bought it but still sits in the i6 local i want to move the mount up i know all the holes are there and I will have to make the drive shaft longer but what about the trans linkage?

If it works, why move it? my old truck was a factory V8 , & the stands were chit canned for the I 6 stands( a little weight setback). The battery is also moved undre the bed (outside the rails , just behind the cab) . the biggest traction help I have seen so far , was moving the fuel tank behind the rear axle not all the "nonstock stuff " is a bad deal crazyL

What tranny r u running? U might have enough thread on the shaft if it is an auto.Allso the tranny lines will need attention if auto along with the exhaust and throttle linkage and tranny kickdown linkage.Just giving some heads up on some problems u might incounter.
