Temp sending unit question - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I have a whole pile of GM temp sending units I've collected over the years.

Can anyone take a multimeter and tell me how many ohms a 67-72 truck sender reads at room temp?

I want to measure all of mine and find the right one. This is for a truck with gauges too, not idiot lights.

I checked two gauge temperature sending units and I got 646 ohms on one and 651 ohms on the other. Room temperature in my pole barn right now is 75 degrees F.

Both units are good and they are both for trucks with the gauge package.
