Wink Hello from Indiana.

My son and I purchased a "unicorn"... 68 LWB Stepside. We are in the process of a major restoration project. Built a cab cart and a bed cart and have the engine out using a hoist and and and engine stand. Fun project! This is a base model, no extras, just and inline 6 250 that is in good shape. 3 on the tree.
Working on prepping the frame for rust proof and paint now. Probably upgrade to front disc brakes, but everything else going to keep stock for now. Nice to join the forum with all the experience everyone has...

This looks like a great father and son project, just a nice basic truck to play with, careful they can be a money pit. Love the blue, I ordered a new SB 4 wheel drive back in 1976, the same color, drove that thing for 10 years, loved it. Who would have thought it would have ever been worth anything? I did sell it to a guy I worked with and I believe he still has it though.
Have fun and enjoy your project together, you have found the right place for all your trucks needs.
