i was wondering if anyone know what kind of lowering kit i can get to lower my blazer.. cuz ive looked all over and cant find one.. uhm.. yeah...

If its a 83 first you would probably want to remove the 4wd components.

sell the 4x4 and get something 2wd to lower it.. if you want to lower something thats 4wd i think an awd subaru or mitsubishi something or other is right up your alley..

You could always swap out a 2wd front xmember and then lower it. Its more work, but it can be done, just not with the 4wd (easily).
You could also try to flip the axles over the springs, I have no idea what that would do with the driveline angles though. (leave out flaming comments, I've never owned a 4wd, just throwing out options. )

While i personally think lowering a 4by is sacreligious (I also like raised 2wd's so who am I to talk) anyway, I've seen one done with an axle over before, running 12 second 1/4miles. I think he had actually gone the other way, from 2wd to 4 for the extra traction. He had pretty decent meats all around so it wasn't ground scraping low but i have to admit it was a pretty sweet truck.
You could even start a G-machine blazer trend or something.

People on here are trying to steer you right dude...lowering a 4x4 73-87 is not the easiest thing in the world.
4x4 = Lift 2wd = LOWER Words to live by. |
