I left mine connected and added a sensor just for my Dakota gauges. Not sure if it was needed but it’s in and my truck runs fine. Mine are GenIV’s

That would make sense (BCM to PCM) - I was hoping it was the other way around but I guess not. No big deal really, eventually I'll be Dakota Digital I think, and for now I've got a gauge and sensor here, and the adapter. Just need to yank the intake manifold again and get it installed.
