Need tailshaft for a 5 speed tranny!
Hey all. my engine/tranny swap in the midget has hit a snag. The T-5 tranny I have is out of a '95 camaro and the shifter is too far back. I would like to buy a tailshaft section with the spline rod out of an S-10 if anyone has one. I would be willing to trade for the one i have that only has 50k miles on it. The camaro tailshaft puts the shifter wayyy to far back for my application, but the s-10 tranny puts it about 6-8 inches forward from the rear. I would prefer a local pickup, do to shipping, but I'm not too picky at this point. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!!

O.K. I just talked to a tranny shop, they said it is not an easy swap (tailhousings, output shaft, etc.) Can anyone tell me about this?
