Vintage Air Electronic A/C System

I have the cable-controlled Vintage Air system in my '67 C20. I've had problems with the cables for a long time.
Has anyone installed the Vintage Air electronic controls system? Any reviews?

Re: Vintage Air Electronic A/C System

im on the tail end of installing one now with the dakota digital controller.. I literally turned it on today for the 1st time, truck is not running yet though so no heat or cool, but the fan operation and vent switching seems really smooth and much more variable.. I will keep you posted on it..

Re: Vintage Air Electronic A/C System

I installed the Vintage Air micro electric switches in my 72 about 8-9 years ago during a frame off. I use it almost daily and they work well. No complaints.

Re: Vintage Air Electronic A/C System

I have installed the electronic version and it was painless and works better than the cable one I had earlier.
