Looking For a Picture of a Truck with Factory Clutch and a Brake Booster
My 1970 C10 has a 3 OTT and I just added a factory brake booster and disc/drum master cylinder which is causing the brake pedal to sit several inches lower than the clutch pedal. I have another thread going trying to find the correct way to solve this issue and have received a few answers. Some people have said that the brake pedal on a truck with a brake booster normally sits lower than the clutch pedal.
In this thread I am trying to find someone with a photo of a truck that came factory with a manual transmission and a brake booster, to see if the pedals actually sat even with each other or if they were offset with the brake pedal being lower. |

The brake pedal will move down when the truck is running and the booster is active, FYI

Hey luvlegs, thanks for the pics. How much lower would you say that the brake pedal is from the clutch?

Thanks for the pics and measurements Andy. Did your truck come from the factory with a booster or did you add it?

Re: Looking For a Picture of a Truck with Factory Clutch and a Brake Booster
I added the booster. I just had a whole 86 front disc brake system installed back this summer. Master cylinder, all the way down to the pads.
