aries nerf bars fitment issue

i went to install my new nerf bars today they hit the bottom of the rocker in the front the back is fine and in order for them to clear the bolt isn't long enough if i shim it down from the bottom of the front cab mount has anyone else had trouble i just restored this truck its got all new cab mounts and rubbers

Have you tried changing bar mounting from dr to passenger sides ?
I had a set on my ram 3500 they fit like a glove

the mounts for driver and passenger side are the same height and they are nearly the same
