Flexible Brake Line on '68 GMC 3/4

It's been a while since I've been on here and haven't done much of anything with my truck but I'm looking for some help. I installed disc brakes on my '68 from an '86 a while back, all went well and got it installed and working.
I ordered the flex line that goes to the caliper and it's a good bit too long but I installed it and there hasn't been any issues - yet. I'd like to go ahead and replace with the correct one, but not sure on what size to order and what PN to go with, something for a '68 or for an '86? Any input?

You can see the spaghetti looking thing in the pic, I'd like to not have this go through my mind whenever I drive the truck.

OK, maybe I didn't look at the '72 lines good enough before ordering but I ordered a pair. Not sure these will work for me unless I grind some tabs on the caliper. I think the round part will fit but the tab on the side will not allow it unless I grind some metal to make it work.
Any other suggestions?

The physical changes of the fittings can be an issue when updating things. I see your options as...

1) Living w/the longer lines. There's no harm w/the extra length as long as they don't interfere w/anything.

2) File/trim the caliper as needed for the different fitting shape. Massaging things won't hurt anything as long as the fitting seats flat.

3) Route the flex lines just like a Squarebody would. This will require re-working the hardlines & making them slightly longer.

4) Custom flex lines.

So the longer length shouldn't cause a spongy pedal should it?
I've got brakes, they just don't seem to have as firm of a feel as I'd expect.

They're the same length as the vehicle you spec'd for purchase. I'm betting it wouldn't cause spongy brakes for it.

Like suggested, if you feel they're an issue, you can always have some stainless brake hoses made to the length you want w/the ends you want.

Thanks for that thread link LoX. Found them on the Autozone site, the caliper end looks like it should work without grinding. I'll pick these up and see how things go.
Cost has gone up to $12.49 though.
